Goby, creator of the leading cloud-based
platform for commercial real estate operations, seeks an exceptional front end
developer to work in a fun, fast-paced Agile team. As a member of the Product
Team, you will play a key role in continuing to refine and improve Goby’s
product, which makes use of the entire Force.com range of programmatic and
declarative development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Apps
& Components, Wave Analytics, Partner Communities, process automation,
security, Salesforce1 Mobile, and more. The Goby Product Team also supports the
Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Pardot.

 

Responsibilities:

· Build user interfaces using HTML5, JavaScript Lightning
Components and Visualforce

· Translate user interface design specs to code using
modern CSS techniques and the Salesforce Lightning Design System

· Construct back-end page controllers, triggers and Web
Services in Apex

· Perform unit and functional tests

· Use source control (git) to collaborate with colleagues

 

Requirements:

· Experience with Salesforce
Lightning, Visualforce and Apex

· Experience building web applications using HTML5/CSS/JavaScript,
JS frameworks and tools

· Experience integrating with REST and SOAP based web
services

· Strong background in core Force.com platform concepts
(security, data modeling, workflow, validation rules, custom settings, etc.)

· Familiarity with Salesforce Communities

· Familiarity with Agile and scrum methodologies

· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written
communication skills

· A positive, entrepreneurial attitude, ability to
independently solve problems, and be highly adaptable

· Willingness to work in downtown Chicago

 

Desired:

· Experience with Wave Analytics

· Experience with Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, Jira,
Confluence, etc)

· Interest in sustainability, real estate, and Big Data
