About You:

You are a Full Stack Software Engineer comfortable with all aspects of the software engineering lifecycle from conception, to deployment, to ongoing support.  You’re passionate about the engineering challenges of maintaining a unique, high-volume e-commerce platform.  You live to unravel mysteries and solve complex problems.  You’re ready to bring high-energy, low-ego brilliance to our small, tight-knit engineering team.  You are comfortable with the technologies in our stack. (See below)

Responsibilities:

• Help design, implement, and deploy new features to improve the functionality of our customer facing and internal applications and solve specific business problems.

• Contribute to the overall technology vision of the company.

• Enhance our technical hygiene by producing high quality code and cleaning up legacy tech debt.

• Help improve and maintain the reliability, speed, and performance of our applications.

Our technology stack:

• LAMP Stack Deployed on Amazon Web Services

• PHP using Slim Framework, Smarty, and some legacy Magento Code

• Python and Node JS used in some microservices

• Aurora MySQL / Redis / Dynamodb

• HTML5 / Angular 1 / SCSS

• Git Version Control / Jira Agile Project Management

• A wide variety of vendor and 3rd party APIs
