• Software design and review: strong focus on fluid, polished User Experience
• Follow a documented software development process and contribute to process improvements
• Participate in all stages of software development including refining product vision, gathering requirements, software system design, coding, testing, release, and support
• Provide technical expertise in a small team focused on small well defined deliverables of highly stunning visual features running on a desktop or mobile browser
• Contribute to requirements definition, design and reviews
• Ensure software created and released conforms to quality requirements by accurately writing and executing test plans
• Automate everything, but particularly: Unit, EndToEnd test design and implementation, and be responsible to analyze and report results
• Investigation and root cause analysis of app and tool pipeline defects

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or STEM field
• Aspiring senior engineers (2+ yrs work experience, with strong work or side projects)…. or…Accomplished mid/senior engineers (5+ yrs of professional software development experience)
• Exacting standards for clean, reliable, modular code and experience leading peer code reviews
• Curious about technology and it shows in your daily work and side projects
• Software development of frontend (in browser) application, and backend data service
• Experience implementing modern Dynamic web app User Experience with libraries such as bootstrap, ember, knockout, Material Design, or equivalent
• Experience implementing modern Responsive web apps across desktop & mobile
• Strong oral and written English. Articulate and concise communication skills
• Ability to work and participate in a team setting with an open, collaborative communication style
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills, eye for detail, ability to anticipate and find corner cases
• Proficient in design of algorithms and data structures
• “Full stack” (front and backend) web development experience
• HTML5, CSS3 frontend desktop & mobile browser experience
• Javascript or Typescript language experience (or C#, Java, C++, Ruby, Python)
• UI programming experience (Bootstrap preferred)
• SQL database experience (MySQL or PostGreSQL preferred)
• One of the following (or bonus for both)
• Frontend experience with AngularJS or Angular2 or React & Redux
• Backend experience with NodeJS & Express (or NodeJS & Some other equivalent)
• RESTful data service or microservice experience
• JavaScript Collections experience (or C++’s STL/boost containers, or Java Collections)
• Python (or Perl or Ruby or equivalent) scripting language experience
• Windows or Linux or MacOSX development experience
• Experience in Unit Testing or Test Driven Development
• Proficient in one Configuration Management tool (e.g. Git, Subversion, Mercurial/Hg, Perforce)
• MongoDB or other NoSQL experience a bonus
