Endotronix, a medical device start-up in Lisle, IL, growing at a fast pace, seeks an experienced Full Stack Developer for development of its wireless, handheld reader unit for pulmonary artery pressure monitoring. The Full Stack Developer will undertake software development through design, verification, and clinical trials of the reader, which uses Endotronix’s patented RF technology to wirelessly obtain pressure readings from an implanted sensor.

  • Collaborate. You'll be working with everyone—dev team, product owners, client services, to innovate and get stuff done
  • Help to build new product features using Angular 4, Bootstrap, and C# .NET 4.6
  • Provide advice and recommendations to the team on how they can solve technical problems using a maintainable, pattern-driven approach
  • Write great code. Write unit, integration, and acceptance tests for that code. Participate in code reviews.
  • Work to help us be the best team we can be by promoting great architecture practices, improving processes, and always wanting to learn more.

Minimum Skills:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education
  • 2-5 years’ industry experience with software design/development
  • Experience with Angular 4, Bootstrap 4 and C# .NET Web API
  • Experience with .NET Entity Framework
  • Experience with SQL Server 2016
  • Experience developing stored procedures
  • Experience using Git
  • Experience with Relational Database Design
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services including RDS, EC2, and S3
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
  • Experience working with HTTP, REST, API designs and SOA

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with medical device development, including clinical trials
  • Familiarity with medical device (or other industry) risk management methods and standards such as IEC 60601-1, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and IEC 62304
  • Experience with development of handheld consumer electronics
  • Experience with requirements definition, NPI, and structured design reviews
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products
