What You’ll be Doing: Rebuilding our products from the ground up in Rails 4 and Ruby 2.0 Making material architectural decisions with the rest of the team. Studying and bringing new technologies to the table. We are polyglots and love exploring things like Rust, Go, Node, Meteor, Elixer, etc Growing with the team. Being involved in mobile development for iOS and Android, growth hacking, leadership and more. Representing the Fooda technology team at industry conferences both locally and abroad. What You Should Already Have: You are a developer who has 3+ years of Ruby on Rails experience. If not, convince us that it doesn’t matter. You are familiar with web and mobile toolkits (Bootstrap, Backbone, as examples). You’ve have built, or are familiar with API’s and distributed architectures. You deeply care about what you're building and take ownership over the quality and delivery. You are passionate about our craft, but don’t start or engage in developer language/methodology/tool warfare. A 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
