Overview:

As the world’s leading sports data and technology company, STATS powers sports.  We are seeking a highly intelligent, self-motivated communications professional to lead our corporate communications team which includes media relations, events and social media.  This leader will be able to effectively manage a small team while also rolling up their sleeves and getting stuff done themselves.  The ideal candidate will have extensive PR and corporate communications experience, an extremely strong bias for action and sense of ownership that results in a significant, quantifiable impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Create, execute, track and continuously improve STATS strategic media relations plan and corporate messaging globally to raise the profile of STATS and its senior leaders in key geographies and market segments as well as to generate leads and drive increased bookings
  • Communicate effectively and serve as a spokesperson yourself with all types of media outlets including business, technology, trade, broadcast, print, online
  • Ensure the implementation of corporate messaging in marketing, communications and branding projects to maximize brand exposure, strengthen brand equity and maintain consistency with corporate messaging
  • Write informative and compelling communications materials, including press release, media advisories, talking points, fact sheets, social media, event materials and website copy
  • Drive and improve STATS conferences and events portfolio globally including speaking engagements, media relations, sponsorship activations and exhibits
  • Manage STATS social media platforms to raise STATS profile in key market segments and establish STATS as a key thought leader in the sports technology, data and content marketplace
  • Establish metrics to monitor, and work to exceed, performance indicators for marketing efforts across all channels and market segments which complement overall Marketing and STATS business objectives

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Minimum of 7 years of public relations experience 
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the corporate PR space
  • Track record of building creative communications programs and delivering quantifiable results in terms of both reputation and lead generation
  • Experience working with and managing strategic communications/PR agency relationships
  • Ability to maintain a rigorous schedule, including domestic and international travel as needed (up to 35%)
