Working alongside our Lead Designer, your key responsibilities are as follows:

• Oversee the innovative visual strategies of each client with the ultimate goal of delivering on deadline and exceeding expectations
• Manage design and art direction for clients as well as work closely with clients from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with Writers, Content Strategists and Lead Designer to make sure all assignments are on-brand and client deadlines are met

  • Social Media Profile headers
  • Email Signature
• Website UX & UI: Designing in either Sketch or Squarespace 
• Direct execution of social media strategy, making sure deliver is well branded and reaches company goals
• Design and Oversee Development of Marketing Materials, ranging from sales sheets, brochures, postcards, pitch decks and more
• Newsletter Design
• Hubspot landing page design
• Online and print ad design
• Provide creative direction for video team
• Contribute ideas to drive the agency forward

About You

Yakkety Yak is a fast-paced, startup environment where marketing, design and editorial excellence is considered a core competency, and employees are expected to continually improve upon this excellence. The ideal candidate for this position must exhibit the following skills and competencies:

• 3-5 years of graphic design experience
• Degree in art, graphic design or a related field
• Advanced knowledge of graphic design principles
• Proficient knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat. (Premiere is a Plus)
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Able to take your own initiative, own your work, but also work collaboratively with teammates in all departments of the agency
• Open to constructive feedback from Lead Designer
