The Graphic Designer position is responsible for the creation and maintenance of both our marketing assets and content created to support the product and other marketing goals. From concept through execution, this candidate will improve our buyer journey by bringing our brand to life and keeping it consistent across all our various touchpoints.

We are looking for a creative force who can work across many teams and understand the nuances of daily project management.

UrbanBound is a web-based relocation platform that helps companies offer a comprehensive relocation system to their newly hired and transferring employees. Fortune 1000 companies are utilizing UrbanBound to help their employees bring order instead of chaos and excitement instead of stress to their transition. Our breakthrough approach has changed the way businesses relocate and onboard employees forever.

It is an exciting time at UrbanBound and this position presents a unique opportunity to help evolve and have ownership over a growing brand. We are looking to make history and you can help UrbanBound achieve greatness by contributing to a plan for global reach by 2016.

  • Scope and create templates for our marketing team to be more efficient in some of their posting on social media, the blog, email, and other channels.

  • Manage other design needs that span the entire company—such as presentations, signage, and trade show collateral as needed.

  • Manage and curate our visual resource database, ensuring files are properly categorized and easy to find.

  • Manage and execute data visualization projects with an analytical (yet visually appealing) mindset

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent eye for design and typography, along with the ability to receive constructive feedback on projects from the marketing team.

  • Great communicator, in conveying both design best practices and project details/ideas across the company.

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.

  • 2+ years experience as either an in-house designer or at a marketing agency. We require work samples to apply for this position.

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologies.

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a major plus.

  • Resourcefulness, ability to take initiative, and willingness to work both independently and as a team are vital.

  • Great problem solving skills and an enthusiasm for learning

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
