JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position plays a pivotal role in bolstering our company’s exponential growth by formulating strategies of recruitment. As the Head Recruiter, you will be responsible for recruiting for high-level positions as well as managing a team and overseeing the sales recruiting strategies for our Evanston and Kansas locations. You will be searching for A-players using a variety of recruiting techniques and true headhunting.

The right person is entrepreneurial with a desire to be in an "all hands on deck" environment, who loves solving people problems, and can thrive in ambiguity. As we have now grown from 100 new customers per month to over 1,500, we need a leader who is passionate about building our team and helping us take our business to the next level.

In this role you will:

  • Be knowledgeable about our business and why it's great to work here.
  • Manage, train, and motivate a team of sales recruiters and their activities in recruiting for commissioned positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop requisitions including outlining requirements for the position and ensuring the requisition is approved and posted to applicant tracking system. Create and revise job descriptions as needed.
  • Identify proactive and effective sourcing strategies to ensure a diverse slate of candidates, providing regular updates to hiring manager.
  • Create and implement effective passive candidate generation strategies to market our opportunities, attract talent and build communicates that produce a high volume of targeted candidates.
  • Execute on tactical outreach, referral generation and pipelining efforts.
  • Effectively screen, interview and select candidates.

Qualifications:

  • The ability to juggle competing priorities and adapt to constant change.
  • Uncommon communication skills with a natural ability to connect and quickly build rapport.
  • A balance of coachability and confidence that makes people jealous of how great you are.
  • Be ridiculously organized with excellent time and process management skills necessary to maintain workload.
  • Ability to thrive in a very candid, fast-paced, demanding environment and communicate with all levels of management.
  • Bring new ideas to the table and raise the bar without fear of push-back.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Multiple levels of experience in recruiting/sourcing from entry level to senior-executive positions with ability to source and sell passive job seekers.
  • Create own methodology for tracking success with appropriate KPIs.
  • Appreciation for sarcasm
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 3+ years experience as a lead recruiter and/or 5+ years of recruiting/sourcing experience
  • Ability to travel to our Kansas office up to 6 days/month
