Head of SMB and Corporate Sales
Sprout Social is looking for an experienced sales leader who will lead a team of sales managers and account executives in a high volume, high velocity inbound lead sales funnel, with customers that purchase in a transactional sales process. The role requires a well-rounded sales management executive that is both operational and aggressive.
Sprout Social is used by over 17,000 brands worldwide including Adobe, Pepsi, Google, Hyatt, and Evernote. These businesses rely on Sprout to create stronger relationships with their customers through social media.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of sales managers and account executives to exceed monthly new business sales goals
- Recruit and hire new sales producers and managers
- Develop and implement sales training and process
- Coach and strategize with sales managers on team development
- Provide leadership to sales organization and counsel to the SVP Sales
- Design, implement, and manage sales forecasting of team
- Manage territory assignment of leads to team to maximize production
- Assist SVP Sales in prioritizing investments in sales enablement technologies
Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management or sales operations management, preferably with a SaaS company
- Consistent and measurable track record of success that you can easily speak to and highlight – both as an individual salesperson, and as a manager within a sales organization
- Exceptional leadership, presentation, and communication skills
- Proven success in developing a team, team members, and sales process
- Data-centric in decision making
- Expertise with Salesforce.com
