Sertifi is seeking a proven sales performer to help us grow our fast growing vertical of hospitality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers and managing current customers inside this targeted segment of hotels and event companies. Our eSignature and payment tool is quickly becoming a must have tool for these organizations. This candidate will have the opportunity to navigate our growth into the hospitality segment and make a real impact on our sales team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Penetrate target accounts in the hospitality industry to drive new revenue
  • Manage the entire sales process: identify key decision-makers, schedule appointments with C-level executives, draft proposals and lead negotiations
  • Actively manage database with all sales-related activity
  • Attend interactive weekly meetings with sales team to discuss pipeline and brainstorm new ideas for growth
  • Make use of consultative sales approach—ask relevant questions to uncover needs, identify barriers and overcome objections
  • Build and maintain rapport with customers and prospects to form strong, long-term business relationships built on trust
  • Maintain an awareness of industry dynamics, emerging opportunities and competitive trends.  Identify and capture trends and communicate findings to team
  • Represent Sertifi in a positive and professional way in all interactions
  • Travel up to 15% to target accounts and tradeshows

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-8 years of quota-carrying software and/or hospitality sales as an individual contributor
  • Ability to sell to DOS's, CIO's and IT leaders
  • Demonstrated track record of sales and revenue responsibility
  • Experience selling technology in the hospitality and event industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiating and closing skills
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team, and take initiative under minimal direct supervision
  • Experience demoing and presenting software technology
  • Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to change in a very fast paced environment
  • Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com
  • High energy, self-motivated, ambitious
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
