Position Objective: This position supports the HR Department and will report to the HR Generalist. This individual is a point of contact for internal customers with Human Resources and general administrative related inquires.

Things you would be responsible for:

  • Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation (I-9s, OSHA and safety training, grievances, performance evaluations, employee leaves of absence, etc.)
  • Facilitation of employee on-boarding (process background checks, collect paperwork, communicate with clubhouse HR representatives and explain benefits / policies)
  • Act as point of contact for all employee HR related questions
  • Work closely with HR team to identify department goals and to ensure that these goals are successfully met
  • Assist team leads with performance management (reviews, development, promotions, terminations, etc.)
  • Support clubhouse safety initiatives and other special projects as assigned

Here’s what your background looks like:

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources (in addition to any Administrative experience)
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of Illinois State and Federal employment laws
  • Excellent communication skills and the desire to build great interpersonal relationships
  • Proactive problem-solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions
  • Outstanding organizational skills, can work independently, and a close attention to detail
  • Demonstrated initiative, judgment and maturity, deals with confidential information with the utmost discretion, respect and care
  • Flexibility to deal with last minute changes and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Comfortable with change
  • Ability to prioritize and handle various responsibilities within a given day
