Human Resources Business Partner
The Team: The Corporate team unites a variety of functions at Morningstar and each plays an essential role in supporting our company’s infrastructure, day-to-day operations and ongoing strategic initiative. The Human Resources team focuses on creating opportunity, balancing rewards and fostering a unique culture for our employees to help drive the highest level of productivity. Responsibilities
- Advise and consult with your internal clients taking a consultative and creative approach to identifying solutions that align with Morningstar’s people philosophies and work environment.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on coaching, mentoring, training and development, rewards and recognition, and performance management.
- Work closely with business leaders on HR organizational strategies that help the company achieve key initiatives including resource planning and talent utilization.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to pro-actively improve upon work processes and achievement of desired outcomes.
- Partner with business leaders to support and lead efforts that continue to enhance employee engagement.
- Implement global HR practices and processes in your business. Create and deliver an effective employee value proposition, talent acquisition. and talent management strategies.
- Foster a great work environment that allows employees to do their best work.
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
- Successful track record in a human resources, management or related field
- Proven ability to establish an efficient, service-orientated HR function.
- 3-5 years of some experience in areas of talent acquisition, talent management, learning & development, employee rewards and employee relations.
- Able to earn senior managers’ and the HR team’s confidence and be relied upon as a trusted team member by senior managers and employees; able to build strong teams and relationships.
- Proven “hands on” approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively or on an independent basis.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems on a strategic level.
