Role Description:

We're looking for an exceptional Sales Support go-getter that can support the sales team in data analysis, correspondence with prospects and customers, and outbound sales efforts. These sales will be specifically for our international merchant sales efforts. This role is a path to a career on our sales team. While on the support team, you'll learn the ins and outs of our complex business, building the knowledge you need to launch into a sales executive role.

This role would ideally be the just the beginning of a bright career in sales. Sales support includes email follow-ups, revenue analysis, online research, and data entry. We need someone with a successful track record (preferably with a software company) where your peers would rave about how awesome you are.  The Sales Admin also provides sales support to prospects by answering questions and acting as the point of contact throughout the sales process. 

Responsibilites:

  • Provide expert advice and consultation for interested prospects on Braintree’s technology capabilities, features and benefits.
  • Act as the advocate and liaison for prospects throughout the underwriting process, including providing recommendations for changes in business models and operational processes
  • Work closely with the sales team, sending out email follow-ups to prospects daily
  • Send thank you emails and/or gifts to new customers
  • Set up test accounts for developers
  • Export weekly and monthly revenue numbers from Salesforce
  • Perform online research (via LinkedIn, Google, Jigsaw, etc.) to help sales team find accurate contact information for outbound prospects
  • Enter data into Salesforce, including status updates and notes

 
Requirements:

  • High attention to detail and work ethic that won't quit
  • Drive and hunger that lasts for days
  • Familiarity and even obsession with technology and the technology space
  • Previous experience working with a CRM and other online systems
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • A desire to be a part of a sales process at a growing company 
  • Experience with International business a plus
