The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing a team of Inside Sales Associates as well as assisting with recruiting, hiring, and training new Inside Sales Associates. This role will be responsible for giving our Inside Sales Team the tools, resources and coaching necessary to accelerate ramp times and improve overall effectiveness and efficiency.

Our ideal candidate will ensure that the Inside Sales Associates have the skills, knowledge and overall readiness to successfully achieve their appointment setting goals. In addition, this person will be responsible for coordinating training efforts with Directors of Enterprise Sales with the VP of Sales. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new leads for insides sales as well as Directors of Enterprise Sales and working with analysts to facilitate effective lead entry into Salesforce via various scrubbing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the audit process working with sales support and sales engineers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiencies with processes, tools, product offerings and employees
  • Lead the goal and appointment setting process for the Inside Sales Team. Manage this process in Salesforce for Sales Directors.
  • Coordinate monthly appointment compensation with Analyst, finance and VP of Sales.
  • Day to day management and coaching of inside sales team
  • Regularly update existing documents for training and presales collateral for Inside Sales Team
  • Use Salesforce to develop regular tracking and reporting of key performance metrics and translate these metrics into implications and recommendations
  • Monitor and measure call production of the team
  • Motivate team to achieve quotas and increase quality of leads
  • Achieve quarterly sales/appointment goals
  • Scrub & identify Lead Lists for Import in Salesforce
  • Work with Inside Sales & Marketo Team on process and integration of Inside Sales Associates campaigns to generate new appointments in various verticals

Requirements

  • Previous Sales leader responsibilities managing a team of Inside Sales Associate
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales enablement, technology sales and/or consulting experience with at least 3 years focused on the digital marketing space
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience creating and delivering sales methodology and playbooks to improve sales effectiveness
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise sales cycles and sales process
  • Proven track record of working with sales directors and executives
  • Strong ability to represent concepts, as well as summarize and communicate complex ideas, into curriculum with a strong sense of how sales professionals think, operate and absorb training
  • Broad knowledge of technology trends and relevance to clients' businesses
  • Self-motivated with a strong team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent presentation and delivery skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as receptive listening skills
  • Clearly demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple, on-going projects
