Job Summary:

Inside Sales Representative will partner with field sales and support to ensure the long-term success of our customers. This individual will have responsibility of responding to customer inquiries for additional equipment or services and proactively cross-selling and up-selling Cloud5 products. The Inside Sales Representative will act as a liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing sales of additional equipment and services to existing Cloud5 customers. S/he will be a customer-focused and handle all interactions with customers with a goal of increasing sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with the Support, Technology, Operations and Finance teams to track customer experience with a focus and solving customer issues. The position reports to National Director of Sales.

Other Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         The establishment and maintenance of strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Operating as the contact for properties identified as needing additional equipment and services as recognized by support issues.

·         Proactively canvasing existing customers for potential upgrades or additions based on age of current contract or installed technology. 

·         Continued marketing and sales effort of all Cloud5 services to Lodging Industry.

·         Oversight of the Customer Onboarding Process for new support and services.

·         Must be able to work across multiple departments including: Cloud5 Operations, Support, Project Management, Deployment and other support groups to satisfy customer needs and objectives.

·         As required, provide oversight during new installation testing, including the facilitation and resolution of customer issues and/or concerns.

·         Engage field sales where upgrades or additional service require management company approval or platform enhancements which require sales engineering design.

·         Other duties as presented by Sales Management.

Qualifications:

·         Must be located in the Chicago, IL area.

·         6 year’s work experience either in a technology support or sales role.

·         Data and Voice networking equipment and services a plus.

·         Experience with Lodging Industry a plus but not required.

·         Comfortable working across several different departments.

·         College degree or comparable work experience.

·         Ability to close business while maintaining established sales margins.

·         This position requires extensive telephone and computer work.  Must be comfortable making and receiving over 100 contacts a day. 

·         Familiarity with Microsoft software products a must.  Salesforce knowledge a plus.

·         Independent worker, strong work ethic.
