Working with key company stakeholders, the instructional designer will ensure essential knowledge and core principals are reinforced through the in-market and web-based content the team develops.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Dealer & Sales Curriculum
    • Leverage key stakeholders to determine objectives and viability of creating new curriculum
    • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and trainers to determine new curriculum
    • Collaborate with the Learning Development Manager & Sr. Instructional Designer to design content
    • Produce learning resources in a variety of formats such as print, video and PowerPoint
    • Develop dealership and industry-centric curriculum for the Learning Management System
  • Leadership skills
    • Work on large projects such as new-hire training, advanced training and yearly sales summits.
    • Work on training projects based on priorities in the organization
    • Continuously analyze and measure the effectiveness of training materials and incorporate feedback to improve curriculum impact
  • Communication 
    • Serve as the liaison between subject matter experts and trainers
    • Gather and utilize input on training needs from sales leadership, while aligning with current sales initiatives

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, InDesign, Excel, Connect, and SnagIt
  • Ability to organize and manage time effectively;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Leadership skills – Work on training projects based on priorities in the organization - for the first bullet point under that
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor degree strongly preferred
  • At least three years of Instructional Design experience and building training curriculum
  • Preferably experience working within the automotive industry
