 POSITION SUMMARY
Develop, install and support eLearning training tools and programs, using a variety of authoring software tools, which are enabled in Aetna's technological architecture and effectively train large and midsize audiences in a cost effective, educationally-sound manner to achieve Aetna's business goals. This position is with bswift, an Aetna subsidiary. This role will be a part of a small learning & performance team developing curricula for the bswift population.

Fundamental Components:
Utilizes desktop technology to offer a broad range of presentation and delivery strategies, including self-paced video, audio, simulations and scenarios, to develop curriculum for the Intranet.
Performs quality reviews to ensure program meets quality and design standards. 
Ensures eLearning programs are developed using the appropriate levels of adult learning instructional techniques and evaluation tools. 
Effectively integrates e.learning programs into Aetna's technological architecture and learning management system.
Researches new eLearning tools and evaluates such technologies for support of training initiatives to improve and facilitate the design and development of Aetna eLearning programs.
Supports the roll out/ implementation of eLearning programs.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
Strong technical skills using standard instructional technology tools such as Adobe suite, Dreamweaver, Storyline, Captivate, Flash, Audio and Graphic software. Expert in HTML and JavaScript, solid understanding of AICC and SCORM specification and how they apply to learning mgmt systems. Experience in web development, design and graphic design.

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
