We have a diverse and talented team of employees who come to us from many kinds of backgrounds.  We have an immediate need for a talented, motivated Integrated Commerce Manager, based in our Naperville or Evanston, IL office.

Position Summary:

The Integrated Commerce Manager is responsible for managing the performance of contextual and endemic ad products and placements on websites throughout the Legacy.com network. As a member of the Product Development team, the Integrated Commerce Manager will optimize new and existing native advertising programs to drive traffic, conversion, revenue growth and profitability. The right candidate will be results driven, comfortable with revenue responsibility and working directly with marketing and advertising partners. The Integrated Commerce Manager must combine strategic and business thinking, analytics and technical skills to generate insights and build successful programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the functionality of our native and endemic ad products (genealogy, charities, flowers, ecommerce) and placements and develop and implement optimizations
  • Have a working knowledge of revenue drivers for each advertising product and the revenue impact within Legacy’s overall advertising mix
  • Act as a liaison between business, product and technology groups involved with the advertising products
  • Work with advertising sales to surface ideas with existing and prospective clients
  • Generate ideas for new ad products and concepts
  • Gather complex data through direct inquiry of our data marts, analyze trends, identify opportunities and quantify the potential value of these opportunities
  • Function independently with minimal supervision and proactively deliver key analytical reports

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of digital/advertising and optimization experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model data to develop revenue opportunities
  • Experience querying database using SQL, advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookup, formulas, some forecasting or modeling)
  • Past Experience in performance marketing or ecommerce is a plus
  • Experience with marketing tools such as: A/B testing tools (Optimizely), web analytics (Google Analytics) and ad serving (e.g. DFP)
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and presentation
  • Flexibility, ability to plan and organize, responsiveness, creativity, self-starter
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a drive to support company initiatives and challenge status quo is key
  • Experience with ad-serving functionality
