We are currently seeking an experienced Integration Consultant – Payroll, SSO & Web Services for a full time position with our headquarters in Chicago, IL. The primary objective for this position is to coordinate the setup of Payroll and Single Sign-On connections between bswift systems and other outside vendors and clients. As part of these data interchange implementations, the Integration Consultant oversees the progress of multiple connections and answers questions from outside contacts including our channel partners and internal team members.

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Consistently reflect our core values of higher standards, greater accountability, and more fun to bswift associates, clients, and partners
  • Work with the Implementation Leaders, Implementation Managers, Client Relationship Managers and Product Management Team to manage the Payroll, SSO and Web Services part of the project for our clients by coordinating and leading meetings, leading requirements discussions with clients and vendors.
  • Manage Payroll and SSO delivery timelines for our bswift implementation team and our clients.
  • Manage client and carrier/vendor expectations, anticipating possible issues and communicating turnaround times with reasonable delivery dates.
  • Complete requirements discussions, perform analysis and coordinate development, either by developing the connection or by project managing in-house developers as needed and lead the team with other bswift resources to meet client deliverables; including, but not limited to:
  • Define required layouts/specifications, data flow, connectivity options/information, etc.
  • Build connections using bswift technology and working directly with Product Management team.
  • Testing planning, testing and working with an Analyst for testing new and existing connections to ensure 100% success rate.
  • Researching and resolving vendor/client inquiries regarding system and process issues
  • Schedule production delivery upon test completion
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Responsible for consulting clients on best practices, industry standards, and process changes to achieve client goals
  • Research and recommend system enhancements based upon client needs
  • Act as a coach and mentor for others
  •  Qualification Prerequisite/Essential Skills:
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in developing and/or consulting on Payroll files as it relates to Health and Welfare.
  • Experience with API’s, Web Authentication (SAML2.0) and other related technologies.
  • Knowledge of project planning and control disciplines.
  • Exceptional customer and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving and written and verbal communications skills, with proven ability to work directly with customers at both the technical and business level
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Diligent documentation habits
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel)
  • Strong technical aptitude

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year College or university
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll involving requirements gathering, consulting, and implementation.
  • 5+ years of experience in creating and deploying SSO & Web Services solutions involving data transformation, including at least 3 years in a project management, account management, or lead analyst/lead implementation role, with direct responsibility in Web Services, Single Sign-On.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel; ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions
  • High level of professionalism, productivity, dependability and accuracy.
