About the Opportunity:

Do you enjoy getting into the nitty-gritty details of how a business operates? Does the challenge of merging multiple businesses to maximize value and improve operations excite you?  Do you consider yourself an effective change agent?  The Integration Program Manager (Strategy, M&A) is a critical, highly visible role responsible for the integration between GrubHub and acquired businesses and high-value partnerships.

Some Challenges You’ll Tackle:
  • Create and deliver a disciplined integration strategy, process and execution plan for each ongoing integration.
  • Establish an agile integration project framework, which includes clear communication plans, disciplined timelines, effective review processes, thorough risk-management, and the flexibility to react to learnings which arise during integration.
  • Motivate cross-functional teams to collaborate effectively and efficiently across companies and geographies.
  • Coordinate all strategic integration processes throughout the full duration of each integration.
  • Manage expectations up and down the chain of command.
  • Interpret the P&L to measure integration impact.
  • Work closely with multiple departments to plan for and implement effective workforce and cultural integration's.
  • Surface opportunities for innovation encountered during integration.
You Should Have:
  • An understanding of many business functions, in order to manage the process of consolidating operations and products, integrating systems and brands, modifying cultures and organization structures, and many other aspects of integrating two or more businesses (M&A).
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to get things done with grace and under pressure, while making the team think it was their idea.
  • Strategic management experience in a position that interfaced with multiple facets of the business on a regular basis.
  • A solid understanding of the financial impact of each integration and the ability to communicate progress in operational and financial terms to senior leadership.
Got These?  Even Better:
  • At least 5 years program management, general management or consulting experience
  • Exposure to national mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as a member of the integration team
  • Experience managing integration's at a technology company
  • BA in Business or Operations, MBA a plus
