It’s overwhelming, inconvenient, and takes way too much time. With Trunk Club, men and women discover awesome clothes that are perfect for them without ever having to go shopping. Our team is based in Chicago, IL, Washington, DC, Dallas, TX, Los Angeles, and New York. Since launching in December 2009, we have grown from four to over 1,000, and in 2014, we were acquired by Nordstrom. We're actively looking for amazing people to join our team!

At Trunk Club, our goal is to deliver the best customer experience in retail.  Our service has an extensive variety of customer touch-points -- both online and in person -- all of which need customer and employee-facing software to enable world-class customer service at scale.  As an interaction designer at Trunk Club, you would be a key contributor to the process of exploring and building the apps that make our customer experience clear, convenient and delightful.

What you will work on day-to-day

• Build quick, interactive prototypes


• Partner with user researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to help turn insights into better software


• Participate in user feedback sessions to identify usability issues and green-field product opportunities


• Contribute to our design and development community, help improve our design process, build our design toolkit

Requirements

• You have 3+ years experience in design


• You have experience shipping production code as part of a software development team


• You have strong foundation of javascript, HTML, and CSS skills


• You want to work in a fast-paced, highly-collaborative, entrepreneurial environment
