With the advent of genomic sequencing, we can finally understand our genetic makeup. We now have more data than ever before but providers don't have the infrastructure or expertise to make sense of said data. Here at Tempus, we are building the infrastructure to modernize cancer treatment. By analyzing a patient’s genetic data in the context of molecular therapies, We empower physicians to make real-time data-driven decisions in clinic based on the comprehensive computational analysis of a patient’s unique pathology. We're looking for IT people who are passionate about changing the status quo and bringing cancer care into the 21st century.
As a Helpdesk Technician, you’ll play a critical role in fulfilling the mission of Tempus by providing secure and private cancer care for our clients and their patients.
What You'll Do:
- Support the IT Site Admin with a number of information technology initiatives, including:
- Addressing and mitigating IT-related helpdesk tickets.
- Maintaining identity and access management systems like Active Directory.
- Maintaining an asset inventory of all IT related equipment, consisting mostly of Apple OSX devices.
- Evaluating the impact of new technologies on Tempus’ IT program.
- Working with software and hardware vendors like CDW.
- Supporting the CISO with a number of security and privacy initiatives.
Qualifications:
Must Have:
- Understanding and experience with various IT equipment, software/SaaS products, and concepts:
- Installing and troubleshooting issues with software, including MS Office and Windows Server and SaaS products like Google Suite and Dropbox.
- Experience helping a company’s SaaS product’s customers via telephone or otherwise remote.
- Installing and supporting security products like endpoint and anti-virus/malware protection
- Experience with basic ethernet network connections and configuration
- Microsoft Active Directory account management/administration
- VOIP phone system installs, moves, adds & changes
- Scripting language(s) (Python, Powershell, C++, Java, etc.) for automation and maintenance
- Minimum of 1-2 years in a IT related field and/or relevant customer service role.
Great if you have:
- Experience working with an information security team or program, and/or operationalizing InfoSec products.
- Previous experience in the healthcare sector and/or with HIPAA/HITRUST compliance.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL Foundations or Comptia A +.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
