MAIN COURSE (Job Responsibilities):
- Designs, develops and modifies modules based on functional and system requirements.
- Work closely with the Team Leader, Business Analyst and Product Owner for understanding the functional and system requirements.
- Estimate effort required to design and implement features and ensure new feature design falls within architectural guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices such as unit testing, code review, refactoring, performance improvement
- Identify and leverage new and emerging hardware and software technologies and products to maintain industry competitiveness
- BS in CS, CIS, MIS, Engineering -OR- Relevant industry experience
- ava is your language of choice; Good understanding of J2EE application architecture and experience in Java web presentation tier software development (Servlet, html, CSS)
- You have worked with server or mobile relational databases (Oracle/SQLite/Core Data).
- You have knowledge of SOAP, RESTful and JSON web services
- You have understanding of build tools (Gradle/ANT/MAVEN), Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Bamboo, and Hudson), scripting languages like Groovy, Ruby, Perl or Python app distribution (Play Store, App Store, TestFlight, Crashlytics).
- Experience in E-commerce frameworks such as hybris, ATG or broadleaf a plus
- You have awesome verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization
