G2 Crowd is an online review site for business-to-business software. We’ve spent the last 3 years hard at work creating an elegant, consumer-review-style app for enterprise customers.  

This year is a big growth year for us, so we’re looking for an engineer that is up to the challenge. Come learn and grow along with us as we race to keep ahead of our scaling traffic!  

Who we are: 

G2 Crowd is a startup founded in June 2012, based out of Highland Park, IL (a 2-minute walk from the UP-N stop). We are venture-funded, and our company-wide headcount sits under 35 people.  

On the product side, we are a Rails shop, with a strong emphasis on front-end code and good design. Making good software makes us giddy.  

If you join our team you will be working in Rails, following TDD and Continuous Integration processes. You will iterate over features in short development cycles, building metrics and measurements alongside the core features to help us make informed business decisions. You will be expected to pay attention to feedback from users of our site, as well as the internal business team members. 

Who you are: 

You have 2+ years programming experience, ideally in a web environment.  

You are passionate about technology, and are looking to learn more under experienced mentors and colleagues.
