Lead Cancer Registrar
Passionate about making a difference in the world of cancer genomics?
With the advent of genomic sequencing, we can finally decode and process our genetic makeup. We now have more data than ever before but providers don't have the infrastructure or expertise to make sense of this data. We're on a mission to connect an entire ecosystem to redefine how genomic and clinical data is used in clinical settings.
We are looking for a lead cancer registrar who will abstract clinical documents (ex. pathology reports, progress notes, EMR files, CSVs) into Tempus’ cancer registry system and assist with quality control and assurance for our abstraction team. For abstraction work, we are particularly interested in previous experience finding and documenting patient diagnosis, tumor characterizations, medications, outcomes, surgeries, molecular testing, among other data fields. The lead abstractor will manage quality and efficiency of a 10-15 person team of abstractors and will frequently answer abstractor questions on patient cases.
