Emerge Media is seeing a Lead Web Application Developer to join our Product Team. This person will be responsible for developing and supporting one of our largest Translate.com products. Translate.com is one of the top translation sites on the web and is owned and operated by Emerge Media. The role will be primarily full stack development for this product but will also mix in code optimization, AWS infrastructure, utilizing a Jr. Developer when possible, customer troubleshooting and supporting the sales team.

Candidate must meet the following technical qualifications:

- Expert knowledge of PHP

- Expert knowledge of OO design patterns and programming

- Experience with MVC architecture (CodeIgniter is preferred but not required)

- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (Vanilla), JSON, JQuery, and AJAX

- Experience with Bootstrap and LESS

- Expert knowledge of MySQL and relational database design

- Experience in building high-volume, custom web applications from scratch.

- 3+ year experience focusing on web application development in LAMP

- Excellent project planning, tracking, and code QA skills.

- Some who is dedicated to developing the best product possible and is OK working outside of M-F 9-5 to ensure its always running smoothly.

- An attention to detail to ensure customer requests, to-do items and issue troubleshooting get handled properly.
