We’re seeking an experienced, energetic leadership development professional to help grow and develop our leaders. The People Team at GrubHub is solutions-oriented, resourceful and passionate about shaping an innovative and diner-obsessed culture in a high growth, fast-paced tech environment.
You will help develop our people by designing, developing and delivering new manager and mid-level training and development initiatives for managers across the organization. Leadership development is fundamental to personal, and organizational, growth at GrubHub and this role serves as a resource to meet the leadership development needs of the organization.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in HR showing a broad HR knowledge base across multiple functions including Talent Development.
In this role, you’ll:
- Design and deliver culturally-aligned management training programs to improve leadership effectiveness and capabilities for all frontline and mid-level leaders
- Partner with HR Business Partners to provide subject matter expertise, identify skill gaps and shape our content offering
- Facilitate new manager training and ongoing leadership development programs
- Manage GrubHub’s team assessment and succession planning processes
- Create and manage career pathing framework for each department
- Own GrubHub’s employee engagement survey and action planning process
- Partner with other teams to make additional training experiences available such as compliance training, role-specific education and professional development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in HR showing a broad HR knowledge base across multiple functions including Talent Development
- Experienced group training facilitator
- Experienced building training programs and interventions to address specific needs
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Leadership presence; excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
- Self-motivated; able to work independently and collaboratively
- Confident in handling ambiguity, have an abundance of common sense and good judgment
