Licensing Assistant

We have locked up contracts with top insurance carriers and are entering hyper-growth mode. We are building an elite team and looking for a Licensing Assistant.

What You'll Do
The primary function involves supporting the Compliance Licensing Coordinator in obtaining and maintaining state insurance licensure for all estimating professionals within our organization. The role will report to the Controller of the organization under the daily supervision of the Compliance Licensing Coordinator.
Responsibilities
Licensing activities include, but are not limited to:
- Ordering pre-licensing coursework, scheduling off site exams, and submitting license applications
- Preparation of license renewal documentation at the direction of the Compliance Licensing Coordinator
- Tracking and managing continuing education requirements
- Assist in preparation of forecasted licensing requirement needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of insurance industry and/or state licensing a plus
- Team-oriented mentality; As a startup, we all are ready and willing to work outside of our job description to ensure the continued success of the team
- Basic Excel skills required including navigating and inputting data
- Organizational skills: ability to multi-task and manage work flow with focus on priorities and deadlines
- Detail oriented: strong alpha and numerical skills, thorough and precise recordkeeping
- Reliability: dependable, strong follow through, self-sufficient
- Communication: clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills: ability to work effectively with internal and external resources
