Our Public Sector Partnerships manager will engage partners in the private, public and nonprofit sectors to supports the Civis brand as an integral part of the movement to “bring start up know how to Government”. This person will enable success for our current clients, and help us engage new potential clients by establishing partnerships that expand our footprint in the state and local public sector space.
Responsibilities
- Proactively engage private-sector firms, large nonprofit organizations, and government partners to develop technical solutions that Civis can bring to the public sector.
- Build relationships with client procurement resources, clients, potential clients, and teaming partners.
- Coordinate Civis support and resources across the firm to ensure success for public sector clients using the Civis Platform.
- Track new federal programs, regulations, offices, and other industry activity that could represent opportunities for Civis.
- Identify opportunities to solve public sector problems by applying a thorough understanding of Civis use cases, competitor activity, and public sector client needs.
- Represent Civis through at industry events, speaking engagements, and other outlets.
- Passion for public service and our work toward creating a more effective, efficient government
- 5+ years of work experience in analytics or a related field.
- A strong understanding of data science, and the use of predictive analytics in the public or private sector.
- Advanced degree in an analytical subject.
- Experience in a startup, or fast-paced professional services firm
- Proven expertise in writing proposals, building cost and pricing estimates of proposed work, and selling the work to new or existing clients
- Experience presenting completed work or pitching new work to executive audiences
