About The Role:
The Sales Development Manager will be a driving force in the success of Yello’s goals and objectives by managing the Sales Development Representative team and identifying and creating new sales opportunities.
How You'll Make An Impact:
- Lead and manage a team of sales development representatives (SDR) responsible fielding multiple sources of leads (Inbound and outbound)
- Manage and forecast top of funnel from a Inbound and outbound lead model
- Consistently achieve monthly quotas at both the team and the rep level
- Partner heavily with marketing to collaborate on lead sources and execution of those lead sources
- Provide strategic guidance to team on how to qualify and sell Yello as a must-have business tool to prospects
- Train, mentor, and coach SDR’s daily on specific lead types, pipeline, and product strategy
- Execute at a high level while being very process oriented to measure success daily
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic processes to increase team efficiencies
- Utilize Salesforce for all tracking and reporting, ensuring all sales team actions are appropriately tracked and recorded
- Work closely with Marketing Team on lead generation metrics along with developing effective promotional material and sales campaigns that align with the Yello brand
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 3 years SaaS Sales experience with a focus on sales development
- Experience building and managing a sales team
- Experience scaling and building strong sales teams in a SaaS market
- Experience in a technology start-up environment with demonstrated aptitude, flexibility, determination
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop top sales talent, helping them exceed sales objectives
- Extremely strong communication and relational skills, both interpersonal and written
- Knowledge of HR, HCM, ERP or CRM software markets highly desirable
