UI LABS is actively recruiting candidates for the position of Manager, Strategy. This position is responsible for supporting the Managing Director, Strategy in all areas including cross-program integration, financial planning and analysis, and strategic projects.  Additional responsibilities include business case development, partnership model development, and stakeholder management.  This position ensures coordinated execution and exchange of best practices across UI LABS.  Demonstrated expertise is required in a variety of fields, including leadership, organizational management, consulting, presenting, and measures-based process improvement.

 +Responsibilities

   ·        Work with MD, Strategy and the Senior Leadership Team on strategic planning and development of operating models

·        Support development and execution of plans for securing targeted funding

·        Identify, assess, and engage with key stakeholders and potential partner organizations to determine potential partnership opportunities

·        Identify growth opportunities for UI LABS; work with Senior Leadership Team to develop capture strategy; provide recommendations to UI LABS through strategic analysis of business case development.

·        Assist MD, Strategy in the research and planning for new programming and identifies resources for broader team to execute the program

 Membership & Program Value

·        Determine and communicate value propositions of new programming for industry,  government, start-up, academic/non-profit

·        Identify areas of new value for partners through UI LABS

 Planning

·        Work with Direct of Finance and MD, Strategy to lead the development, modeling and deployment of UI LABS new programs and partnership models.

·       Collaborate with lab teams  to assess new partnership opportunities, develop operational plans to implement and resources necessary to launch and run new services

Organization Excellence

·        Support UI LABS’ initiatives requiring specialized or cross-functional expertise and use of lab resources.

·        Support program operations, business development, and marketing and communications in the execution of Strategy initiatives.

 Position Requirements

·        Bachelors’ degree; MBA is a plus

·        3-7 years of experience with a solid track record of performance in a consultant or manager position in a top consulting firm, investment banking, or venture capital firm; corporation or non-profit

·        Effective communication skills with the ability to conceptualize and present ideas in order to guide and influence C-suite decision-making through strategic thinking, in-depth analysis, and fact-based, objective recommendations.

·        Experience with project management, customer/client engagement, business development and analytical problem solving

·        Ability to work across multiple teams and manage to outcomes without direct control of all resources.

·        Strong reputation for effective management, ethics, and integrity.
