The Marketing Automation Specialist (Demand Generation and Market Response focus) will be tasked with developing inbound demand for proejct44’s enterprise SaaS solutions and cultivating inbound market requests into sales opportunities. The successful applicant will have a deep understanding of data-driven enterprise SaaS demand generation tactics, business development and sales techniques, and how marketing contributes to the sales pipeline.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create, execute and report on integrated demand generation solutions resulting in automated qualified leads and new customer acquisition. Campaigns will include but are not limited to the following marketing channels: PR, email marketing, content marketing, webinars, trade shows, social marketing, SEO and paid search.
  • Build email automation programs that focus on various on and offline trigger events within the customer life cycle and improve those programs with insights and data. Employ nurturing strategies with extensive segmentation to engage prospects and get them to convert into leads.
  • Own the lead qualification process for all inbound market requests by nurturing leads into sales opportunities, which will be passed over to Sales Account Executives. This includes working closely and communicating successfully with a cross functional sales, pre-sales/engineering and marketing group.
  • Write engaging and value-based, customer centric content including headlines, emails, landing pages, web, social and press release copy in a way that communicates complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner to target audiences.
  • Provide weekly reports to senior staff on key metrics of our demand generation efforts and market program ROI. Provide and execute recommendations for improvement based on the metrics.
  • Be a subject matter expert in demand generation and inbound marketing process, software and tools.
  • Establish and maintain the Salesforce CRM system and automation platform documentation and training materials. We are looking for someone who is a master Salesforce user.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree and 3 years of marketing experience in a lead generation role for a B2B tech company.

    • Proven success managing and analyzing inbound marketing and nurturing programs to drive lead generation, MQL, SQL, and MRR.
    • Experience building and maintaining a lead qualification process from inquiry to close in a CRM and Marketing Automation system.
    • Excellent understanding of customer and prospect marketing in B2B environment, marketing technologies/tools and industry best practices.
Experience developing a transformative B2B technology and enterprise SaaS brand.
    • Careful attention to detail, and ability to not only grasp complex, nuanced product and technical requirements, but also market them in a clear and concise manner.
    • Passionate about enterprise marketing and technology.
    • Understands the B2B customer journey, and can translate qualitative and quantitative data into useful customer experiences
 Hands on experience with the following tools required:
    • Marketing Automation (Hubspot, Marketo  Eloqua, Pardot, etc.)
    • Email Marketing Software
    • CRM (Salesforce Master User Experience is a must)
    • Website, landing page, HTML experience
Leadership mentality and entrepreneurial spirit is a must
    • Be a self-starter who can work well collaboratively, deliver on promises, prioritize assignments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Strong organizational skills, strict attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
