The Marketing Coordinator ensures that strategic marketing initiatives are executed at expectation and pace. Efforts will focus on growing the awareness of the Pear brand through PR, brand campaigns, events and other related efforts. The Marketing Coordinator will also work directly with other team leads, as this position requires resources and efforts from technology, digital marketing, community management and account management.  The Marketing Manager is the key point of interface with vendors and other outside resources; this is a position that requires forward thinking, problem solving and accountability in execution.  

This position provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with Pear’s top leadership team, reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, while influencing decisions and processes that affect all departments within Pear from Sales to Product to Finance and Marketing.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute brand campaigns from start to finish while closely monitoring the costs and funnel for results and ROI
  • Coordinate all PR and B2B marketing efforts as needed
  • Act as a liaison between vendors and internal resources while maintaining regular contact with both to ensure that communication flows effectively
  • Work closely with internal teams to collect and analyze performance data for reporting to and analysis for Pear
  • Accountable for quality control on all assignments

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4 years of relevant industry experience in marketing/advertising or related field
  • Thrives in high performance, fast‐paced environments
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound judgement and teamwork skills
  • Highly self-motivated and self‐directed
  • Experience with databases and campaign performance analytics
  • Superior reporting and Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of productivity, CRM and project management software
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree(s) in marketing, advertising, communications or economics preferred
