POSITION OVERVIEW

 

The Marketing Event Coordinator (MEC) is responsible for the administration, execution, and analysis of Gesture’s event and trade show strategy, assisting in lead generation and distribution, and managing projects related to events and other marketing projects.

The MEC is directly responsible for the execution of our marketing strategy and delivering stellar marketing events throughout the year. The MEC reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Sales Operations.

 

KEY DUTIES

1.    Planning, Execution, and Analysis of Trade Shows

2.    Creation and Promotion of Gesture Educational Events

3.    Prospect Development and Qualification

RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Plan Gesture trade show booths and manage execution of each trade show

●      Follow Up with all trade show leads and assist sales team in creating new opportunities

●      Identify, create, and promote Gesture Educational Events

●      Create and qualify new leads for sales

●      Analyze trade show campaign success

●      Edit and present ROI reports to management

●      Construct marketing events and execute marketing calendar

●      Work in conjunction with Marketing Team on strategy and execution of plans

●      Assist at Gesture events where necessary

●      Adhere to all company policies and procedures

●      Act in the best interests of our clients and Gesture and go above and beyond

QUALIFICATIONS

●      2-3 years of experience working in a marketing events environment; Prior experience managing trade shows is preferred

●      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

●      25% Travel Required

●      Sales & Event Management experience preferred

●      Strong communication skills both verbal and written

●      Must be team focused and extremely organized

●      Proficient with the use of computers (Mac based), iPads, Google products

●      Experience using Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
