We're looking for a Marketing Growth Engineer that will blur the lines between marketing, product, and engineering to grow our user base as well as customer base. You'll have a high degree of autonomy and will be able to quickly put your ideas to work. We have a flat organizational structure and love testing new ideas!

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of growth features related to user acquisition and conversions
  • Have a deep understanding of the product and business metrics
  • Collaborate with marketing and product team to execute on growth initiatives like referrals, SEM and SEO
  • Build new tools to optimize and automate our marketing workflow
  • Test new ideas by building MVPs and running A/B tests to determine the winner
  • Build the infrastructure to scale our marketing operations and collect data at scale.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2+ years real world experience in building products using an object oriented language
  • Experience in using scripting languages to build and validate new ideas and tools
  • Experience building tools or solutions for advertisting both SEO and SEM
  • Good knowledge in SQL and relational databases
  • Experience integrating different tools and APIs like Salesforce  is a bonus
  • Passion for learning new technologies fast

More users means more data, however — and data makes it harder for users to find what’s relevant to them. “Personalization solves this.” Now, Widman finally gets to execute on that vision, and the business impact can’t be overstated. “We’re bending that retention curve and bringing users back more often.”

“Built In’s vision is helping tech professionals achieve their career goals, but Built In does that for its own employees,” said Sandhya Hemakumar. Since joining the company a year ago, she's been delighted by the autonomy she has to pitch new tools and technologies to leadership. “We move at a very fast pace, so there’s a lot of room for development.” Hemakumar is currently building a new testing strategy that will allow for faster product rollouts, and said there’s been great collaboration between product and engineering. “We worked together in planning a roadmap from the get go.”
