ParkWhiz is seeking a paid Marketing Intern in our Chicago headquarters for Summer 2016. We're on the verge of becoming a large consumer brand and this is an opportunity to help shape the way the world views the service. As a marketing intern you'll be provided with invaluable experience with a marketing team in growth mode.
What you'll do:
- Work directly with our event marketing and outreach teams to: (1) Research opportunities (2) Help build databases (3) General event planning
- Gain direct exposure to how small marketing teams integrate and collaborate by shadowing social media, SEO, design, and CRM teams
- Seek and analyze competitor marekting materials - online and offline
- Support social media efforts and maintain tracking of public relations activity
- Build your own campaign - research, plan, budget, and execute
- Probably pursuing a degree in Marketing/Advertising (but other majors are fine if you're excited about the above work) and at junior level or above
- Some "creative meets project managment" experience
- Creativity, curiosity, organization, enthusiasm, humor
- Strong attention to detail and social media proficiency
- Excellent communication - verbal and written
- Comfort working with Google applications
What you'll get:
