We work with charities, non-profit organizations, schools, churches and political organizations nationwide to facilitate events that foster generosity and improve lives through fundraising activities. Among others, these activities include silent auctions, direct donations, and live auctions. Gesture’s energetic team and unique mobile-bidding technology help our partners maximize their fundraising efforts.
Position Summary:
The Marketing Intern will work with the Content Manager, Design Manager, and Marketing and Sales Operations Director on daily tasks and longer-term initiatives including research, lead generation, and content creation in order to accomplish departmental and organizational goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage lead tracking and generate reports for analysis
Develop leads for sales team based on parameters provided by Marketing Director
Contribute to content creation for email campaigns, blog posts, and other marketing materials
Research and compile data for long-form guides
Promote and acquire new followers on our social media sites
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Act in the best interest of clients and Gesture
Qualifications:
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Detail-oriented with good follow through
Team-focused and extremely organized
Willingness to take on some administrative tasks
Positive attitude and work ethic
Eager to learn, grow, and help our nonprofit partners succeed
In pursuit of Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing, Business, and Graphic Design preferred
- Experience in non-profit sector, customer service, event management or account management preferred, but not required
