RoomIt by CWT is looking for a Marketing Manager that has proven expertise in building multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive top of funnel, engagement and delivery of MQLs.  Located in our new downtown Chicago office, RoomIt is the recently launched technology-driven hotel distribution business by Carlson Wagonlit Travel.  This is your chance to get in on the ground floor of this exciting new business and to help shape our future.

You have proven success in building and running inbound and outbound campaigns.  You are relentless in tracking, analyzing and optimizing campaigns.  You test and test and test again to ensure leads stay on track through the funnel.  You are an expert in understanding your audience, developing personas and building relevant campaigns that drive conversions.  You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and have the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.  You will be up for a good game of shuffleboard to get your creative energy flowing.

The Marketing Manager will work closely with other integrated marketing members, global sales, marketing strategy and product marketing.

Main Responsibilities:

•Develop customer acquisition campaign strategies to deliver pipeline by planning and executing campaigns from end to end.

•Develop A/B testing to optimize campaign performance and drive internal learning around key messages and target personas.

•Responsible for delivering traffic, leads and marketing-driven pipeline in close partnership with sales and then nurture the adoption of travel services with signed clients.

•Manage online and offline campaign channels including SEO/SEM, email marketing, advertising, retargeting and content syndication.

•Establish target response rates, conversion rates and ROI for all programs and track results for campaign optimization.

•Develop models to give sales enough quality leads to hit sales target.

•Develop in-depth knowledge of the RoomIt business, products and target audiences to effectively design campaigns that are relevant, contextual and timely.

•Perform other duties as assigned.

•Travel may be up to 25%.

 

Experience and Education:

•Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or equivalent discipline.

•5-7 years in B2B demand generation role with proven success of driving marketing qualified leads.

•Experience with marketing to multiple buyer personas

•Strong experience in marketing automation tools, preferably Eloqua.  Knowledge of Oracle Sales Cloud helpful.

•Experience with analytics tools to track, measure and report on results of demand and lead generation campaigns.

•Excellent planning, organization and project management skills, including defining, organizing, planning and executing campaigns from vision through implementation.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Ability to effectively interface and interact with all levels of organization building strong, collaborative relationships.

•The ability to creatively resolve issues, understand business constraints of resources, budgets and timelines, while remaining adaptable and flexible.

•A strong work ethic and 'roll up your sleeves' attitude to help wherever you're needed.

A bonus if you also have:

•Running demand generation at an international level

•B2C experience in addition to B2B

•Experience in high-growth start-ups

•Experience in travel technology

We will be looking for a portfolio that showcases marketing campaigns including landing pages, email sequences, marketing automation workflows and campaign analysis.
