Overview:

The Marketing Manager helps define our brand messaging and strategically disseminates our brand stories to bring in new business opportunities and improve the agency’s visibility and reputation in the marketplace. This role is for a marketing generalist who will work across numerous marketing channels and strategies. The Marketing Manager position requires a motivated self-starter who can proactively and efficiently lead projects, production and timelines working independently and collaboratively across departments and geographies within a highly matrixed US and global team. We are looking for a passionate marketing professional who is a creative thinker with excellent interpersonal and project management skills who enjoys the fast pace of an entrepreneurial high-growth environment. This person must be able to take direction and then independently manage projects.

 

Role Objectives:

  • Oversee and manage updates to Performics brand digital properties & campaigns:
    • Social channel posting and community management
    • com (fresh homepage content, featured work, news and events, leadership changes, etc. via WordPress CMS
    • Performance paid search, retargeting and display campaigns
    • Monthly newsletter and other ad hoc email marketing
  • Manage speaking and awards submissions and calendar on behalf of the agency
  • Drive case study development with account teams and Content Specialist. Be a universal keeper of case studies with an eye for quality standards and brand consistency.
  • Become a Performics brand champion and expert and very familiar with the key leaders of Performics and their areas of expertise
  • Project management of key initiatives including:
    • Video production
    • Branded materials
    • Intent Lab marketing and events
    • Status reporting & tracking (e.g. press coverage, website/social traffic, speaking accepted)
  • Event/sponsorship planning for 2-3 industry events annually
  • Public Relations logistics and support as needed, including content creation

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline, e.g., public relations, communications, advertising, journalism
  • 3-5 years marketing experience - agency, brand or digital preferred
  • Project management capabilities to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Great “people skills” and ability to build relationships in person and virtually
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong writing background
  • Journalism/PR mindset, with an eye for story angles and “spin”
  • At least 1 year of people management experience
  • Basic technical understanding of HTML and CSS; CMS management
  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Social Media community management experience preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce and Constant Contact preferred but not required
  • Event management experience preferred
