Enova’s marketing teams unite digital and traditional marketers, account owners, directmarketing specialists and advertising pros who strive to create a cohesive marketing strategy for each of our financial products. These gurus integrate marketing strategies between traditional marketing, SEM, e-mail, direct mail, lead generation and affiliate marketing to pave the way of our products directly to our customers. Their goals are simple: acquire new customers and retain existing customers, develop brands that create a positive customer experience, and own programs that have measurable, bottom-line impact.
What you can expect:
In this position you will report directly to the Director of Marketing to apply marketing best practices and drive large marketing initiatives to ensure that our direct marketing, lead generation, digital, and existing customer marketing efforts are efficient and effective. You will work across all brands and collaborate with Marketing Heads, Marketing Analytics, Creative Services, Tech, and Data Services to execute projects in an innovative, fast pace environment. A key part of this role will be mentoring and guiding fellow marketers on how to identify opportunities and apply new approaches to solving problems.
What you’ll do:
- Campaign Management – Develop and implement multi-touch automated marketing campaigns and customer communications across businesses using analytics to target different segments and groups with tailored campaigns.
- Best Practices – Ensure best practices are in place and in use with our talented marketing teams across all our incredible brands.
- Capabilities Management– Manage capabilities that advance marketing performance including supporting technology, data, integrations, reporting, training and operations.
- Reporting and Analytics – Oversee and manage implementation of automated reporting and monitoring, deliver standardized and ad-hoc reports/dashboards; works closely with marketing team to ensure campaigns are efficiently tracked for meaningful reporting.
- Thought Leadership - Provide thought leadership on digital, direct and portfolio marketing by remaining current on trends, the competitive landscape, and best practices.
- Project Management – Translate strategic plan into projects and tasks. Prioritize, set project plan, monitor, deliver on milestones, remove roadblocks, and problem solve.
- Communication - Report on goal progress, forecasts, results, challenges, and achievements in a concise and timely manner to all levels of the business.
- Team Mentorship and/or Management -Ability to develop and coach marketing team members to grow their level of contributions and for more senior roles within the organization.
- Collaboration- Work cross-functionally with internal departments (legal, marketing analytics, creative services, finance, business intelligence and tech). Partner with marketing program owners and marketing heads to support their campaigns and other efforts.
You’re right for this job if you have:
- 5-7+ years relevant experience (direct marketing, e-commerce, portfolio marketing, database marketing)
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Marketing or related field
- Knowledge and experience in digital (PPC, SEO, affiliates) and traditional (tv, print, radio, direct mail) marketing execution and strategy, preferably B2C
- Expertise and experience in marketing operations management, with outstanding verbal and decision-making communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing projects in a fast-paced, results driven environment through strategic planning, prioritization, and task delegation
- Proven success with managing vendors and business partner relationships
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to understand quantitative data and sound problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal. Ability to organize thoughts, communicate professionally and concisely to multiple audiences.
- Previous leadership and people management experience
- Solid Excel experience, SQL experience a plus
