Membership, Manager / Coordinator

mHUB is actively recruiting candidates for the full-time position of Membership, Manager / Coordinator to help with the day-to-day membership operations and develop and maintain positive relations with our members at our innovation center. The Manager / Coordinator is the representative of mHUB, available to respond and assist to member feedback, managing access and improving the overall experience for members. mHUB is seeking a motivated self-starter who can help support the growth and retention strategies for our membership community. This is an exciting position to be in as our membership continues to grow rapidly, it is the perfect opportunity to build an exciting and diverse community of entrepreneurs while at the same time support their growth. We are looking for a creative thinker with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys the fast pace of an entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about the technology world. He or she should be eager to take initiative and learn new technologies and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

  • The Membership Coordinator works closely with the Membership Development team to support their member recruiting efforts to ensure the development of a diverse community;
  • Reviews new member applications and manage the approval and onboarding process as well as member monthly membership subscriptions and billing process. Liaise with admin staff when necessary to resolve any issues with access cards, payments other paperwork.
  • Develop and implement activities and events to support community engagement from our membership.
  • Work closely with the Programming and Marketing teams to drive membership participation in community activities at mHUB. Play an active role in facilitating members organizing their own events.
  • Work with members to understand their concerns, feedback, and needs, and advise management on ways in which mHUB can improve. Survey and analyze membership data to identify the sectors in which membership is stronger at.
  • Update and maintain Membership Information documents;
  • Plan, schedule, and implement specific membership retention and recruitment efforts, activities or events.

Person Profile

Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 2 or 5 years of work experience after graduation required. A charismatic, confident, independent and creative individual with experience in providing administrative support in a professional work environment and customer service/relations. Comfortable with fast-paced and changing work environment and responsibility as well as a team player attitude. Ability to learn quickly and work independently is a plus, willingness and ability to spend evenings and weekends at membership/development events is preferred.
