Grainger Tech. is looking for Merchandising Operations Coordinator’s. We are expanding our team and have a few new openings. Located downtown Chicago, Grainger Tech is a wholly owned subsidiary of Grainger.
Primary Function:
The Merchandising Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting our merchandising objectives on every front. We are seeking a results-oriented professional to execute key merchandising activities, initiatives, and manage projects aligned with company goals and objectives. This is a complex role requiring high level organizational skills.
In supporting our merchandising team, the Merchandising Operations Coordinator will become familiar with our software and publishing requirements. Duties will include data normalization, software testing, web publishing tasks, and data management.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Our Merchandising Operations Coordinator is a dedicated support position who will:
- Manage large sets of data, including maintenance, updates, and analysis.
- Format and review product information for correctness, completeness, and overall quality.
- Support product information activities in merchandising content.
- Create, monitor, and report on merchandising production schedules.
- Manage data initiatives aligned with company goals and objectives.
Preferred Education & Experience:
• Experience working with large sets of data, deadlines, and details is preferred.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office functionality, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Able collaborator with leadership, business users, and technical personnel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in deadline-driven environment and handle multiple conflicting priorities at the same time.
A plus:
• Experience with Product data or MRO experience would be a plus although not required.
