Position: Merchant Partnership Intern- 12 weeks

Location: Chicago Loop

Hours: 11am-7pm

Pay Rate : $10/ hour (Full-time)

About The Position

We’re seeking driven and motivated interns to join our Merchant Partnerships Team this summer! During this internship with Raise your time will be split between working with our sales and marketing teams. On the sales side you will help us identify, research and sign partnerships with local, regional and national merchants. For marketing you will be an ambassador of the Raise brand to its consumers at offline events. You will be tasked with educating people and getting them excited about how Raise is changing the gift card space. While you will mainly be our on-site personnel at various events and happenings, you will also have one to two days a week in the office.

 Responsibilities

  • Find, research, and qualify potential partnerships ranging from small local and regional business to Fortune 500 companies
  • Strategically plan event-specific offerings to acquire new members
  • Uphold the Raise brand at offline events
  • Request needed marketing leave-behinds and swag prior to events
  • Set-up and take down events
  • Provide event insight reports
  • Create business development lists for upcoming potential events

Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in college
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably with a focus in Advertising, Business, Marketing, or Communications
  • Very organized and possess effective research skills
  • Experience with MS Office and Google Drive Preferred.
  • Clear and professional communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
  • Excellent organizational and team player skills.
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic personality.
