Brad’s Deals is looking to add a member to the Mobile App Development team. The ideal candidate will have several years of app development experience for the Android platform. Our apps have been installed on close to two million Android and iOS devices and we’re looking to expand even further. Our mission is to bring best-of-web deals to shoppers everywhere, from their commute in the morning to the check out line in the store. Mobile isn’t merely an extension of our web presence, but a unique experience and opportunity for our users. As more consumers move to mobile for their shopping needs, we look to leverage the form-factor of the mobile experience and integrate our apps into the consumer purchase cycle.

Drive features from ideation to completion through prototyping, validation, implementation, launch and iteration
Work with cross functional team to build the optimal consumer experience for our users
Shape the direction of our mobile product roadmap

Experience building and releasing apps to the Google Play Store
Android SDK and compatibility experience
Knowledge of Amazon App Store compatibility a plus
Experience using REST APIs to feed applications
Knowledge of the Android SDK’s geolocation and push notification APIs

The Brad’s Deals development team is a cross-functional team with members from every background. Our websites and applications are powered by JSON APIs written in a number of languages and technologies including Ruby, Go, and Closure. Our Service Oriented Architecture is built around over two-dozen services utilizing many of the products provided by Amazon Web Services EC2, S3, and SNS. We focus on agile iteration and close coordination between our product and development teams to ensure we deliver the right features on time.
