Mobile Marketing Specialist
Mobile Marketing Specialists not only work in the field of emerging media and technology, they have it in their DNA. You’re passionate about Mobile and you’re eager to be a part of its growth. As the Marketing Specialist, you are the day-to-day point person deploying and optimizing mobile media campaigns for our clients. Alongside the Marketing Manager, you’ll be developing go-to-market strategies, issuing RFP’s, and putting campaigns into a market. You’ll handle campaign optimization recommendations and post campaign analysis. You’ll be asked to wear many hats, but you’re going to have fun doing it.
Position Details
Planning
- Work with the Marketing Manager to develop strategic approach to meet client objectives
- Assist in the development of the recommendation document
- Utilize media research tools and resources to aid in campaign recommendations
Media Buying
- Develop Request for Proposals and field any vendor questions surrounding the RFP
- Evaluate returned RFPs and determine vehicle selections
- Assist in development of the final buy recommendation and summary
Implementation and Maintenance
- Gather and communicate of creative spec data to partners
- Develop insertion orders and purchase orders
- End to end project management of campaigns
- Trafficking, QA and monitoring of a campaign
- Invoice reconciliation
- Field cross-departmental questions regarding campaign execution
Results Analysis
- Gather and analyze the data, and assist in the development of results documents highlighting the relevant learnings and recommendations for future campaigns
Management
- Day-to-day contact for internal teams specific to client business
- Manage vendor relationships
- Aid in the management of vendor solicitations
About You:
- You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; you’re eager for challenges and can work productively within an unstructured environment
- 1– 3 years experience in digital media planning and buying. While having mobile experience is preferred, it’s not required. What we’re looking for is someone who loves technology, recognizes the potential of mobile and is eager build the business.
- Solid working knowledge of the digital media planning and buying process. Experience using DoubleClick Dart and/or Atlas ad serving technologies
- Ability to understand client objectives and how they translate into media strategies
- Solid understanding of general advertising and direct marketing performance metrics
- Excellent time and project management skills, able to manage day-to-day program execution
- Advanced skill in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong proficiency in managing and analyzing data
- Experience with online research tools such as Nielsen, @Plan, AdRelevance, etc.
