Mobile Marketing / User Acquisition Lead
Who we are: SpotHero is making life easier for the daily driver, by giving them a seamless way of reserving parking on the web and on their mobile phones. We've grown almost 400% in just the last year and are changing the way that people find parking.
What you’ll do:
- Build advertising plans, performance metrics, and objectives that align with overall team goals
- Find, test, and profitably scale emerging customer acquisition channels across different markets
- Identify the highest impact channels, tools, processes, and reports to help us scale even faster
- Figure out ways to creatively scale volume while lowering CAC or increasing LTV
- Develop test plans, measure performance, and optimize campaigns through A/B testing
- Own mobile marketing strategy across new and existing cities
- Inform product team on how you’d recommend we optimize the app for better UA
- Own entire customer journey, from ad to install to re-engagement campaigns
- Prepare reports and/or forecasts about new user acquisition for the marketing team on a weekly basis, the executive team on a monthly basis, and the board of directors on a quarterly basis
- Monitor, optimize, and report performance on campaigns
- Identify new partners, platforms, and optimization opportunities to drive campaign performance
- Help us exceed overall monthly projections and fill the inventory in our marketplace

The experience we’re looking for:
- 2-4 years of demonstrated success in running user acquisition campaigns across multiple platforms
- Fluent in install, analytics, and engagement best practices for both web and mobile apps
- Expert on Facebook, Twitter, mobile install ads, affiliate marketing, and emerging platforms
- Reporting on CAC, LTV, and payback across multiple campaigns and channels
- Interest in providing creative direction around ad copy and design
- Managing self-service platforms and working with 3rd parties
- Intuitive grasp of data and strong Excel experience at data-driven companies
- Addiction to working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you can embrace change
- Experience with geo-local businesses
- Degree from top university in math, stats, econ, finance or engineering
- Bonus Points:
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools
- Traditional digital advertising experience (e.g. SEM, display, etc.)
- You’re overly enthusiastic about parking
Location
- Chicago preferred, but we will consider exceptional candidates with experience working remotely who are based in SF or NYC, where we have satellite offices
