Responsibilities 

* As a member of an agile scrum team, participate in all team ceremonies and standups, including backlog estimation, story development, story feasibility assessment and technical story writing. 

* Work with other team members to ensure the quality, reliability, and maintainability of applications and systems 

* Determine and implement the best technical approach to a story while remaining in compliance with Legacy.com’s standards; ensure coding decisions comply with company process and architectural standards 

* Collaborate with the team to clarify and determine project requirements as well as to resolve bugs 

* Document aspects of a project, including technical specifications 

* Research web development trends, technologies, and tools to help advance Legacy.com’s technical infrastructure 

* Serve as an on-call support person for all Legacy.com applications during an assigned support shift, including during off-hours rotational support 

* In a support role, determine how best to resolve issues as they arise – solve, escalate, etc.

 

Requirements 

* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field 

* Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 (or higher), C# 4.0 (or higher) and ASP.NET 4.0 (or higher) 

* Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming 

* Strong knowledge of web technologies and standards, including HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, JSON 

* Experience with ecommerce platforms/applications in general and with the Episerver Ecommerce platform specifically is preferred 

* Knowledge of relational database systems, including Microsoft SQL Server. 

* Experience with responsive design is a plus 

* Accountable, with the ability to take ownership of a project and see it through to completion 

* Excellent time management skills with the ability to determine and set task and project priorities 

* Analytical approach to problem solving 

* Excellent teamwork, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills 

* Ability to work well in a very fast-paced environment 

* Strong attention to detail and high quality of work
