Network Engineer:

This role is responsible for Network Infrastructure deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance including LAN/WAN/WiFi and network monitoring architectures. Role manages and coordinates day-to-day planning, design, operations, and maintenance; planning and coordinating with users, vendors, and corporate management. Must have strong trouble-shooting skills to correct problems and outages in a timely and efficient manner. Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision as well as interact as a vital member of the IT team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of network communications.
  • Use knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
  • Test and evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
  • Administer existing network infrastructure and perform maintenance activities on Network.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to support tactical network policy and direction.
  • Compile network metrics, key performance indicators, and network policy compliance documentation.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and document corrective actions to network related issues.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
  • Understand and demonstrate STATS LLC's Core Values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong proficiency in TCP/IP-based intranet, extranet, and Internet services, protocols, and best practices.
  • Strong networking technical skills with an emphasis on Switches, Routers, Servers, Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, NHRP, PPP, MPLS, VPN. DMVPN.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Cisco Systems, UNIX and Linux.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology field, or combination of school & experience required.
  • Juniper, CCNA, CCNP or CCIE, preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work related experience required.
