Network Security Engineer

This is an exciting new role at kCura to Build Security Monitoring Solutions, with the emphasis on automation. Using programming ability, craft solutions that bolster our Monitoring program
Responsibilities
- Analyze logs and write or acquire automated solutions to assist in finding bad behavior
- Analyze packets and sessions using Security Onion to identify non-baseline behavior
- Support incident response teams
- Assist with Security Audits and Risk Assessments
Qualifications
Familiar with open source software, particularly Security Onion, log collection and analysis tools. Deeply familiar with networks, protocols. Able to write programs dealing with logs, packets, unstructured data.
